Burundi Team Training:
Mission International will be carrying out a teams training event near Edinburgh on 30th May 2009. The Burundi team, fifteen in number, will gather to receive instruction on safety, practice public speaking and receive cultural training. The training is particularly important for those who have not been to Africa before but it also allows Mission International to reinforce our values and the aims and objectives of the team.

Dates for September 2008

Team Training gets underway:

A team from Menzieshill High School in Dundee, Scotland will be heading for Uganda in October 2008 for a period of three weeks. The team training will cover issues to do with culture, behaviour, practical issues etc. The team are excited about the trip and are so much looking forward to it after having been involved in fundraising for almost two years. Gabba Community near Kampala is the destination and base for the team. They will get involved and support the projects already underway in the network of schools, clinics and churches connected to Gabba. The hosts, Africa Renewal Ministries, are well experienced at receiving and deploying teams and so this should be a busy but enjoyable trip for everyone involved.
